Torus Stiff Stay R8/80/22 High Tensile Lambsafe 100m
Pallet Quantity - 12 Rolls
Common Applications
Sheep
The “Ultimate Livestock Fence” Countryside Stewardship Approved
The R8/80/22 is the “Ultimate Livestock Fence” with 22cm spacing between the vertical stay wires, this increased spacing, over standard 15cm livestock net, helps prevent sheep getting their heads stuck in the fence. R8/80/22 stock fence features the unobtrusive high pressure bonded Torus knot which does not have any sharp edges.
Tornado Torus netting features a solid vertical wire commonly referred to as “stiff-stay” and in accordance with the latest Countryside Stewardship Grant (FG2) £7.47 p/m can be claimed, it also enables posts to be spaced up to 6m. If using Hinge Joint whether it be mild steel or high tensile the maximum post spacing will be 3m.
Tornado Torus Stock Fence is manufactured with high tensile wire which strains tighter than mild steel and so requires fewer intermediate posts, making it quicker to erect. The spring like properties of a high tensile wire help the netting stay tight, keeping maintenance to a minimum.

Barbed Fence Staples 40 x 4mm x 10kg Bucket (132 per kg)
Pallet Quantity - 10 Buckets
Staples are a core Tornado fencing product, used for securing fencing netting or lines of plain or barbed wire to intermediate fencing posts. Tornado fencing staples are the choice for secure and effective fencing; hard-wearing and long-lasting.
Tornado Staples have 2 key features to ensure optimal performance:
- Slice-point technology, forcing the staple to splay out when driven into the post, provides superior purchase
- Barb resists being pulled out, even if the post dries and splits
Tornado staples are heavily galvanised
Hinge Joint C8/80/15 Mild Steel Livestock 50m
Pallet Quantity - 16 Rolls
Common Applications - Sheep
Farmers know that effective grassland management requires strong and reliable fencing that will last for decades. Tornado’s range of livestock fencing has been engineered to offer maximum strength, security and longevity to protect your livestock, whilst offering exceptional value with minimal lifetime costs.
C8/80/15 is the most commonly used mild steel stock fence and features the traditional, cost-effective hinge joint which enables the netting to be turned out or cranked for use in special applications. Mild steel does not need to be strained as tightly as the high tensile variant and gradual turns can be made using intermediate posts. This is particularly useful if you need to make a lot of turns in your fence.

Budget Hexagonal Wire Mesh 1050 x 31 x 1.0mm 50m
Pallet Quantity - 10 Rolls
1050 x 31 x 1mm Budget Hex Net is our most popular rabbit netting, offering a cost effective solution to rabbit control. Integrated salvage wires provide additional strength, and the net can be turned out if required to prevent burrowing underneath. We would always recommend using Tornado Premium rabbit netting; however, we understand that sometimes a fence is only required for a short period of time. Although still heavily galvanised, this netting is not recommended for grant work.

Ground Contact
Zinc and zinc aluminium coated agricultural fence service life can be affected significantly when exposed to extremely acidic or saline environments and this factor should be considered when designing your fence installation. For typical service life to be achieved it is recommended that the product must be installed in an atmosphere with corrosively class C1, C2 or C3 (very low/low/medium) in accordance with ISO 9223 and must not come into contact with substances that will accelerate corrosion, including but not limited to fertilisers, pesticides, herbicides, salt water and soils of pH lower than 5.5. Particularly at sites with peaty and wet ground conditions it is recommended that you have the soil pH tested prior to designing your installation
